Joe Narmi is proud to be a Southwest Iowa native. Joe graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor's of Business Administration, with a degree in Finance and a Minor in Psychology in 1996; he graduated from Creighton University with a Master of Business Administration in 1998; and he graduated from the Creighton University School of Law with a Juris Doctor in 2001. After passing the Iowa
Bar Exam, Joe worked as a Prosecutor for the Pottawattamie County Attorney's Office from 2001 to 2007. Joe entered the Executive Development Program at First National Bank in May of 2007, where he spent three years with First National Bank in a variety of roles. In June of 2010, Joe opened his own law practice in downtown Council Bluffs
Joe is the past-President of the Pottawattamie County Bar Association; a member of the Fourth Judicial District Bar Association; a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, including membership in the Criminal Law, Family Law, Litigation, and Probate Property and Trust Law Sections; Member of Ethics Commission; and a member of the Iowa Trust Association. Joe is involved in many Community activities. Joe is the Chairman of the Council Bluffs Area Board of Catholic Education; is the Chairman of the Diocese of Des Moines Allegation Review Committee; is a past Chairman of the Corpus Christi Parish Pastoral Council; is on the Board of Directors for the Catholic Tuition Organization; is a member of the St. Albert Foundation; is a member of the Knights of Columbus; is a Sports Reporter for KMA Broadcasting; appears as an Iowa politics and Iowa high school sports expert on Boomer Radio 1420AM; was a long-time mentor in the TeamMates Mentoring Program; has been a long-time Judge for the revered Hoo Doo Day Parade in Neola; is the owner of the St. Albert Sports Fan Website; and is a Board Member of the Salem United Methodist Church Money Mentors and Compassion Program. Joe enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, playing tennis, fishing, boating, following Iowa high school sports, and following the stock market.
