Devastating news for the legal community. And the country. RIP Justice Ginsburg. We will miss you.

Ginsburg, the second woman to serve on the Supreme Court, died from complications from cancer. Her death will set in motion what promises to be a tumultuous political battle over who will succeed her.

This was posted on 5/15/20 on the Massachusetts Juror Service website. We have not received notice from the Courts yet, but it appears jury trials will be canceled until September. You can’t have a jury trial without jurors!

We haven’t posted in a while, so I just want to say hello! We are still open Monday- Friday 10-4 and want to thank all of our clients for your trust and confidence! I especially wanted to remind my friends and colleagues in the real estate business that we are still cranking out closings! Rates are at an all time low, so it’s a great time to buy or refinance and the Registry has gone virtual. I hope you will think of us if you or a client need an attorney.

A divorce coach would be such an amazing tool for parents going through it! Here is some information and what seems to be a great pamphlet for just a few dollars. A key take away- don’t focus on your ex, focus on your children and encourage your children’s relationship with the other parent. It is so easy to forget with hurt feelings, but so important for children.

What often seems fair to parents isn’t what’s best for kids after divorce.

The "war on drugs" is over! We lost. What can we do now to fix this colossal mistake? Hopefully, those of us involved in the criminal justice system can stop mass incarceration of minorities, individuals in poverty, individuals with mental illness and those with substance use disorder. Arm yourself with some information! Take 5 minutes to read this article.
