August Housing Update. Our key takeaways:

• Singe family home prices have remained relatively stable at or slightly above $600,000 all summer and August was no different.

• Despite homes sitting on the market slightly longer than July, the average time before selling is still very low and considered healthy.

• The total number of New Listings and Homes Sold both increased month over month.

Now this is all despite interest rates hitting as high as 7.5% ( the highest they’ve been in 20+ years). The market has been resilient, but it will be interesting to see how that effects the housing stats for September.
