Whittier Law Review

Whittier Law Review Whittier Law Review is a student-run honors organization publishing a collection of articles of legal scholarship three times annually.

Our impetus is to continue as a valued informational and research tool for students of the law and the legal community, both domestically and internationally. The Law Review also provides an exceptional opportunity for its editors to further develop their analytical, editing, legal research, and writing skills. The Law Review is also a forum for all students of Whittier Law School to submit their

articles for publication consideration in a legal journal. Legal professionals, law professors and students publish with the Whittier Law Review. Prior to publication every article is subjected to a meticulous editorial process designed to strengthen and polish substance and tone. Law Review membership is regarded as an honor within the legal profession, and as such, carries a commensurate degree of prestige. Aside from merely strengthening one’s resume, membership is a sign of superlative skill in research and precision in legal writing. The editors of Whittier Law Review enjoy a reputation in the legal community that has facilitated externship positions in the federal courts, California Courts of Appeal, and attorney positions with the Department of Justice, the Office of the Judge Advocate General, and many others, in both public and private sectors.
