We are excited to introduce Ben Batchelor as a new attorney at Pomerene, Burns & Skelton! Ben successfully passed the July 2025 Ohio Bar Exam and will be sworn in as an attorney on November 17th.

Ben’s practice areas at the firm will include domestic relations, estate planning, probate, civil litigation, and general practice. He started working at the firm in August, learning from and assisting attorneys Robert and James Skelton.

Ben was born and raised in Coshocton and graduated from Coshocton High School in 2017. He is a 2020 graduate of the University of Findlay where he was a member of the men’s soccer team and earned his bachelor’s degree.

Ben graduated with honors from Capital University Law School in May of 2025. During law school, he externed for Judge Michael H. Watson at the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, externed for the Capital Habeas Unit at the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio, and served as Articles Editor on the Capital University Law Review.
