SCAM ALERT

We have been made aware of a scam going through the community. The scam involves fraudulent invoices (pictured below) and the County warns, "fraudulent invoices may appear legitimate because scammers are using information obtained from publicly available records, including information contained in public Planning Board applications. Residents should be aware that the inclusion of accurate personal, property, or project information does not mean that an invoice or payment request is legitimate."

Do not make payments on questionable invoices until you have personally verified the authenticity.
