Job Description:
Areas of law include Business Litigation, Business Representation, Real Estate, General Litigation, some Probate and Guardianship (ad litem appointments). A qualified individual would be a professional responsible for all aspects of litigation support; including but not limited to drafting pleadings, discovery review and preparation, correspondence, ability to work with minimal supervision, have exceptional organizational, time management and problem-solving skills; and billing for substantively legal work. A bilingual individual fluent in Spanish is preferred, but not required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, state and federal efiling, WestLaw (including form builder), and O'Connors online, or willing to learn with minimal training.

Job Functions:
Knowledge of legal practices is crucial in this independent position. A qualified individual should be a self-starter able to take ownership of cases and provide input for attorney review. PREVIOUS LEGAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION.

Job Benefits:
Professionally casual office with flexible scheduling. Full time is considered to be between 30-40 hours per week. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

In light of the CDC suggestion to prevent infection and avoid potential exposure of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), our office will be modifying working hours for staff, and limiting face to face meetings with clients and potential clients for at least this week, March 16th – 20th. Our modified office hours for this week are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with no break for lunch. This is not only for the safety of our staff, but for our clients as well.
If you are a potential new client, please call our office to leave Mr. Gonzales a detailed message regarding your legal matter or question. If you are an existing client, please call the office, or email us with your specific question or concern on your existing case and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
This is our small attempt to do our part in preventing infection and potential exposure for our staff as well as our existing and future clients.
