The Real Estate Market is facing a housing shortage of nearly 2.5 million units. New construction has failed to keep pace with demand with the under-building of new homes due to land, materials, and worker shortages. Single-family homes were snatched up by investors during the housing crisis, which increased by 31% from 2007-2016. Millennials, now the largest U.S. adult population numbering at 73 million, are now entering the home buying market alongside the Baby Boomers.
