What does “Expired Listing” really mean?
Your home was on the market. You prepared for showings, accommodated every schedule, and waited patiently for the right offer.
And then your listing expired.
First, take a breath. This is not a reflection of your home’s value and it is not a permanent setback. An expired listing simply means your contract with your agent ended before your home sold. That’s it.
But here is what most sellers don’t hear after an expiration: the reason your home didn’t sell almost always comes down to one of four things.
