Not Guilty and out of jail for the first time in four and a half years. Nice Kid with a new lease on life. Tough case and tough situation, but hopefully something good will come from the ordeal. God damn I'm tired.....

After six weeks in trial where my client was facing the death penalty and six days of jury deliberations, the jury comes back and spares my client's life with a NOT GUILTY verdict on the murder charge. Very tough case but worth the effort. I'm very grateful to my friend and co-counsel Khurrum Wahid , our mitigation specialist Samantha Lopez and our entire team for the amazing work they all did. The fight continues, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

After six days of jury deliberations and three weeks of trial, a verdict was reached in the rare two-defendant murder trial where co-defendants were facing the death penalty.
