We can’t get people to use turn signals, understand four way stops, turn headlights on when it’s raining, or merge onto I-40 the right way. And now we’re giving them ALTITUDE?! If somebody rear ends you at 3,000 feet, do you exchange insurance information or last words? Is tailgating considered an FAA violation? And which one of y’all is going to be the first to get a DUI in a cloud? Anyway, expanding the personal injury/criminal defense practice to include AIRSPACE.

Meet Our Newest Legal Assistant, Trinity Bray!

You may have already talked to Trinity on the phone or met her in person over the last few weeks; but she’s been far too busy helping us fight the good fight to stop for an official photo. 😂
When we asked her to send us an introduction, she said, “Do whatever you want—it feels awkward sending an introduction to you.” Naturally, we took that as full creative control.
Trinity graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Political Science. She is continuing her education at the Nashville School of Law, with plans to practice criminal defense, open her own law firm, and establish a shelter for survivors of domestic violence. She has some seriously big goals; and the heart and determination to match.
When she isn’t studying, working, or planning how to change the world, Trinity enjoys painting, playing the cello, reading, and spending time with her dog, Buckley. 🎨🎻📚🐾

Finally had a moment to snap a photo, so I can officially introduce you to Jacob Misenhimer, the newest attorney in our office!

Jacob is an Overton County native who has made his way back home to Middle Tennessee after working as a public defender in South Carolina. He and his family returned to be closer to home as they prepare for an exciting new chapter—they have their first baby on the way!

Jacob has already hit the ground running and is helping clients in White County today.
He is especially looking forward to serving clients in estate planning, probate, criminal defense, conservatorships, business transactions, contracts, and general civil litigation all over the Upper Cumberland.

I brought Jacob onto the team because he is incredibly bright and exceptionally thorough. He is the kind of lawyer who genuinely enjoys digging into complicated legal issues, studying the details, and finding arguments or solutions that others might overlook.

We are excited to have him back home in Middle Tennessee and even more excited to see the good work he will do for our clients and communities.
