🌎 QUICK GEOGRAPHY LESSON… Where exactly am I?
I moved from the United States of America 🇺🇸 to South America 🌎 — specifically Chile 🇨🇱.
So here’s the question…
Is South America still “America”? 🤔
Geographically, yes. Depending on where you were taught geography, North America and South America can be described as two continents — or together as the Americas.
But then there’s CHILE. 🇨🇱
And after living here, I’m starting to think Chile might just be a world of its own.
🏔️ The Andes running almost the entire length of the country
🌊 The Pacific Ocean on the other side
🏜️ The Atacama Desert in the north
🍷 W**e country in the center
🌋 Volcanoes, lakes and forests here in Los Lagos
❄️ Patagonia, glaciers and the wild south
Chile stretches more than 4,000 km from north to south, yet averages only about 177 km wide.
One country. An unbelievable number of landscapes.
And here I am in Puerto Varas, Chile, where you can look at a volcano in the morning, snowboard during the day, and be back beside Lake Llanquihue by evening. 🏂🌋
So yes… I live in South America.
Yes… I live in the Americas.
But some days?
It feels like I moved to another world. 🇨🇱❤️
