Never Forget those who were killed and the family members who so suddenly had a part of themselves ripped out. The suddeness seems just as traumatic as the loss itself. Honor them with the courage to be selfless every chance you get. Semper Fi.

$879,000,000 in damages awarded to 35 clients of The Urquhart Law Firm.

They are Air Force veterans wounded in the 1996 terrorist bombing at Khobar Towers and their family members who were affected. They are more than just "clients." They are mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, and represent the best this country has to offer. So much was taken from them and they've lived with the pain and loss since 1996. Now they can live with the balance that Justice provides.

It's symbolic this result was obtained just before the 4th of July through our civil justice system which played a significant role in declaring our nation's independence on this day in 1776. I'm proud of these veterans and their families for opening their scars and fighting back against the Iranian defendants, with the anxiety of an uncertain result on their shoulders. I'm also proud of my brilliant co-counsel Gavriel Mairone, Michael Miller, Jim Moriarty, and Andrew Sullo.

On June 25,1996 Iranian terrorists and their agents detonated a 5,000-pound truck bomb just after parking it inside the Khobar Towers housing complex in Saudi Arabia, killing and maiming hundreds serving in the Air Force. It was a massive explosion. This cowardly attack destroyed thousands of lives. Today we honor the fallen, the survivors, and their families. We are proud to be representing some of them in lawsuits against Iran under the terrorism exception to the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act. Semper Fi to our Air Force veterans and families suffering today and every day.
