Who misses the satisfying lid snap and quick clickety antenna collapse of ending an angry call on a flip phone? Jamming your thumb down hard on a red circle is just not the same!

The threat of being sued is an important way we encourage companies to keep their products safe. Why wouldn't this work for AI just as it does with other products?

Liability is much more effective than regulation at pushing companies to be safe.

One of the best of Moretz’s Legal Maxims: Never wrestle with a pig – you both get muddy, but the pig likes it.

Here's some excellent info for HOAs regarding disaster preparedness courtesy of the Community Associations Institute. Another important point on this topic is that FEMA will not reimburse HOAs for the costs of removing debris from private roads, but it will reimburse your town or city if it does so. If your HOA has private roads, this needs to be set up ahead of time. We represent hundreds of HOAs throughout NC - let us know if we can help.

The new Dash-In convenience store on Copperfield Boulevard is open and it’s beautiful! We are proud to have served as legal counsel for the developer in the negotiations with Dash-In. If you’re doing a commercial real estate deal in Cabarrus, Rowan, Stanly or Union County, we’ve got the only lawyer certified as a Specialist in Commercial Real Estate Law by the North Carolina State Bar in the area. 💪
