I am an experienced and collaboratively trained family law lawyer, assisting New Hampshire clients in resolving their family crises in an efficient manner with empathy, compassion, and collegiality. Through thoughtful and tailored strategy unique to client goals and creative solutions to maximize family wealth and limit familial turmoil, I work with self-employed individuals, business owners, busi

ness executives, attorneys, dentists, doctors, human resource professionals, homemakers, education professionals, retirees, tradesmen, and others to achieve results that work best for them and their families. I was recently recoginzed as a One to Watch by Best Lawyers and named a Rising Star by New England Super Lawyers® in the area of Family Law. I resolve most cases through negotiation, mediation, and other alternative dispute resolution methods, representing clients at court proceedings when needed. I have briefed and argued cases before the New Hampshire Circuit Court Family Division, including those on the specialized Family Division Complex Case Docket designed for high value and/or highly contentious matters, the New Hampshire Circuit Court Probate Division, and the New Hampshire Circuit Court District Division. I have also briefed cases before the New Hampshire Supreme Court, the New Hampshire Superior Court, and the New Hampshire Circuit Court Probate Division's specialized Trust Docket designed for complex trust cases. How I May Help

I’m looking forward to speaking this Thursday at the UNH CEO and Family Enterprise Center Speaker Series alongside my colleague Samuel Fuller.

We’ll be discussing “Preserving Family Business Assets and Mitigating Risk Through Family Life Events”—a topic that sits at the intersection of family dynamics, corporate governance, and long-term business resilience during times of transition, including in divorce and at death.

We’ll explore practical strategies that help business owners protect what they’ve built and plan for the future.

Thank you to the UNH CEO & Family Enterprise Center for inviting us to contribute to this important conversation.

I recently had the privilege of presenting to the Paralegal Association of New Hampshire (PANH) on the Rule 1.25-A Mandatory Disclosure—a cornerstone in every New Hampshire family law case.

Our discussion emphasized the evolving role of financial transparency, including the often-overlooked requirement to produce payment service account statements. This was also the subject of a prior article I authored, and it remains just as relevant today as digital transactions continue to expand and parties more frequently hold significant funds in associated accounts.

A heartfelt thank you to PANH for welcoming me and for the opportunity to contribute to ongoing professional education and dialogue in our field.

Most parents negotiating a parenting plan remember to account for the “big” holidays or at least the ones included in the NH court form. Maybe because the court form does not outline all holidays that a family may value and want to plan, some holidays often do not get addressed in a parenting plan, like New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, which can lead to conflict when the unaccounted for holiday approaches.

Working with a family law attorney in crafting a parenting plan may decrease the likelihood of a holiday falling through the cracks and allow the focus to be on the holiday, rather than a parenting dispute, when the time comes to celebrate.

Most parents negotiating a parenting plan remember to account for the “big” holidays or at least the ones included in the NH court form. Maybe because the court form does not outline all holidays that a family may value and want to plan, some holidays often do not get addressed in a parenting plan, like Halloween and Trick-or-Treating, which can lead to conflict when the unaccounted for holiday approaches.
