We had a nice turnout for our first Columbus Board of Realtors Forum outside of Columbus in many years, maybe ever. A big thank you to Timpte and their staff for hosting us and giving us the opportunity to learn more about their
history, current industry and future. Timpte originated in Colorado and in 1984 moved to David City to be closer to the Agricultural markets. They currently produce 18 trailers daily in David City with goals of 32 if and when they can find labor and of course demand. David City is headquarters for Timpte but they do have 12 other locations thru out the United States.
The tour of the plant was outstanding and we saw a mixture of difficult manual labor with some stations of robotics. Timpte has a low turnover rate and many employees who have worked for the company 30-40 plus years.

Another interesting fact is that Columbus High Graduate and former NE football player Tim Carpenter is CEO over all of Timpte Industries.
