Winter Storm begins Friday Night thru Saturday
● Temperatures will drop below freezing early Saturday Morning and remain so through Monday Afternoon. Wind Chills Saturday Night will range from -5° to -20° F.
● Wintry Precipitation:
○ Precipitation builds in from south late Friday.
○ Rain will transition to a mix of rain, freezing rain, and snow in mid-Missouri Saturday Morning.
○ Transition to all snow around midday.
○ Light glazing of ice central MO and south of Missouri River possible.
○ Greatest Snow Amounts in Northern MO/KS.

A tornado to our West yesterday evening during the storm.

This is an actual photo of the tornado that developed from the storm that came through Cooper County, MO yesterday evening. This tornado was near the Morgan/Cooper County line near the community of Otterville. There was plenty of warring for this tornado as the Nation Weather Service had advised the area of storms forming that could produce tornados and severe thunderstorms. In addition, the weather service then issued a tornado warning when radar indicated a tornado in the area. Please share this post on Facebook.
