Proud of our associate, Katie DiFerdinando, for recently presenting a continuing education course for the Carroll County Association of REALTORS® on probate and estate-related real estate transactions.

The program focused on helping real estate professionals better understand the probate process, common issues that can arise during estate administration, and practical considerations when navigating these transactions.

We always appreciate opportunities to connect with and educate other professionals in our community, especially on topics that can help clients navigate difficult transitions more smoothly. Thank you to the Carroll County Association of REALTORS® for having us!

We were honored to attend and sponsor the National Family Resiliency Center’s Spring Awakening Fundraiser alongside so many professionals dedicated to supporting children and families in our community.

NFRC does incredible work providing education, counseling, co-parenting support, and resources for families navigating difficult transitions, and we are proud to support an organization whose mission aligns so closely with the work we do every day.

A wonderful evening spent connecting with colleagues, supporting an important cause, and celebrating the impact organizations like NFRC continue to make throughout Maryland.

Thank you to Amanda Campbell and Wealthspire for such a thoughtful and beautifully curated afternoon at Old Westminster Winery.

From the private greenhouse setting to the great wine and even better conversation, it was the perfect reminder that some of the best professional relationships are built simply by slowing down and connecting with good people.

Grateful for the relationships we’ve built, the business we’ve shared, and the opportunity to spend time with such an incredible group of professionals. 🍷✨

Being cooperative in a legal matter does not mean agreeing to everything or giving up important protections.

It's possible, and often beneficial, to approach situations with a reasonable and respectful mindset while still maintaining clear, firm boundaries. In fact, strong boundaries can lead to more productive discussions by setting clear expectations.

The goal is not to avoid conflict at all costs, but to handle it in a way that is measured, strategic, and aligned with your long-term interests. This balance isn’t always easy to navigate on your own so at Leffler, Bayoumi & Oliver, we help our clients identify where cooperation makes sense and where firm boundaries are necessary, so they can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Lauren and Gauri spent a wonderful evening connecting with colleagues at the Baltimore County Bar Association’s Multi-Jurisdictional Family Law Dinner.

This event brought together family law attorneys and judges from different jurisdictions, creating space for meaningful conversation, shared insight, and stronger professional relationships across the legal community.

Always valuable to step outside the day-to-day and engage with others who are doing this work alongside us.

While it may feel natural to talk through your situation with friends, family, or even online, sharing too much information can create unintended complications.

Statements made outside of your legal team can be misunderstood, repeated inaccurately, or even used against you in court. Additionally, outside opinions, while well-meaning, may not be grounded in the specifics of your case.

Keeping sensitive matters within a trusted, professional setting helps protect your position and ensures that decisions are made based on sound legal guidance.

Strong team, stronger mindset 💪

We took team building to the next level at Soldierfit, led by our very own paralegal, Dalisis, who doubled as our coach for the day. Pushing limits, building trust, and having fun along the way, because a stronger team means better results for our clients.

At Leffler, Bayoumi & Oliver, LLC, we see every day the strength, resilience, and dedication it takes to be a mother.

This Mother’s Day, we honor the women who guide, protect, and advocate for their families with unwavering care, whether by birth, by choice, or by the many meaningful ways they show up in the lives of others. We also recognize those who hope to become mothers and those who carry that role in different ways.

Happy Mother’s Day 💐
