rent size of six attorneys. The attorneys are divided into two practice groups, each headed by one of the senior members of the firm. Each group engages in the general practice of law, but each group tends to concentrate more on particular areas of the law. One group headed by Mark Scoggins concentrates on personal injury, workers’ compensation, tort litigation, real estate, and criminal law. The other group headed by Mark Rohr concentrates more on family law, estate planning, estate settlement, guardianships, corporate and business services, and municipal law. Each attorney handles trial and appellate litigation involving his or her area of concentration. Despite the division of concentration, Crowder & Scoggins, Ltd. pursues a “team” approach to the practice of law. At the end of each day, all attorneys gather for a meeting at which each attorney has the opportunity to discuss unusual or complex issues relating to a pending matter with the other attorneys. This practice utilizes the various expertise of each attorney in the firm and brings the other lawyers up to date on new or pending matters.
