The results are: Seat 1 - Eugene Hennelly will replace the incumbent Commissioner Carolyn L. "Carolee" Williams. Seat 3 - Commissioner Stephen "Mike" Caston has been reelected. Seat 5 - Swain E. Whitfield will replace the incumbent Commissioner Headen B. Thomas. Seat 7 - Chairman Delton W. Powers, Jr. has been reelected. PURC Issues Screening Report for 2026 PSC Elections

On February 11, 2026, the State Regulation of Public Utilities Review Committee issued its screening report for candidates for South Carolina Public Service Commission Districts 1, 3, 5, and 7. Candidates will be allowed to ask members of the General Assembly for commitments beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026.
