The former location of Six Flags America in Prince George’s County has been purchased by two firms, including the investment and media company of a D.C.-born NBA superstar.
Houston Rockets player Kevin Durant’s 35V and the Atlanta-based investment firm TPA Group are the new owners of the Six Flags property, according to a news release from Prince George’s County.
Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor Maryland closed permanently in November after originally opening in 1999. Previously, the site opened as a wildlife center in 1974.
