On only our SECOND day in LA, I am overwhelmed with gratitude! Aidan has found a place to live with not one but TWO amazing roommates in the entertainment industry-one of whom is practically a celebrity himself, having toured with some major industry favorites! And they were so warm and welcoming from the very first moment. Aidan is getting two big brothers, and Mama is getting two adopted sons! πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ

We hit the Pride festival in West Hollywood 🌈, got our grub on at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles πŸ§‡πŸ—, walked the iconic Walk of Fame ⭐, AND my NYC street smarts did NOT fail me-I figured out the LA Metro and saved myself $50 on an Uber! You can take the girl out of New York… πŸ˜‚

God keeps showing up and showing OUT. I am so incredibly blessed by the people, the moments, and the memories being made.

Tonight Aidan got to see his buddy Fabian-a local Denver artist and lead singer of Bruha-and I participated in my FIRST EVER mosh pit at almost 47 years old. πŸ€˜πŸ˜‚

I got punched in the head. I got my glasses knocked off my face and the drink knocked out of my hand. 😀And what did I do? I returned the energy and started pushing everyone out of the way-and not a single person pushed me back! πŸ˜‚ Did they think I was gonna break a hip or something?! Talk about stress relief!! πŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Being the "cool mom" and hanging with the youngins is everything. Sooo much fun.

Tomorrow we head to a Pride festival in West Hollywood πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ and Aidan may have found a place already. πŸ™πŸ½ This trip is just what my soul needed. ❀️

Today I was surprised with the most beautiful gift by a new friend. She told me to check the mail and I had NO idea what it could be. When I opened that little box… I saw the most beautiful necklace with a boxing glove pendant. πŸ₯Š It was PERFECT!

I put it on and then noticed it had my favorite Bible verse inscribed on it-β€œI can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me"-Philippians 4:13

How did this beautiful soul know just how much this would mean to me?! Never taking it off! I'll wear it proudly right next to my necklace with my dad's fingerprint. πŸ₯Ή

Day in the Life of a Bankruptcy Attorney βš–οΈ

Today started with a 341 meeting I was honestly a little nervous about-my older, tech-challenged clients had been resistant about getting me the documents I needed for the trustee. But you know what? We pushed through it together and they showed UP. So proud of them! πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ₯Š

I still have 2 cases and 2 lawsuits to file before Friday, a handful of new client consultations to squeeze in, and an inbox full of emails from my incredible IT guru who honestly keeps my whole operation from falling apart. πŸ˜… Thank you Christie with It's Electra Digital πŸ™πŸ½

My new bookkeeper is working his magic getting my books streamlined, and my former coworker is an absolute angel for housesitting and loving on my babies while I'm away. 🐾❀️

The only things missing from this equation? A reliable cleaning service and a solid lawn care professional-if you know someone, PLEASE send them my way! πŸ™πŸ½

And the light at the end of the tunnel?? Sunny LA and the BEACH is calling my name! πŸŒŠβ˜€οΈ Will I probably have my laptop open on the sand? Absolutely. A change of scenery is exactly what this attorney ordered!!

I've been seeing chatter that bankruptcy attorneys are struggling right now because tax refunds are spent and people can't afford to file-but I just broke my personal record and filed 14 cases on my own in Colorado last month alone. 🀯 And my calendar isn't even fully open yet. Just wait on it! πŸ™πŸ½

Oh and somewhere in between all of this... I still have two TikTok dances to learn. Priorities. 🀣

Dear clients and friends,

I wanted to let you all know that Tirado Law Office will be closed for one week beginning Friday, June 5th. I will be back and open for business on Monday, June 15th.

I'm heading to Los Angeles with my son to help him find an apartment as he pursues his dream in music-and I couldn't be more proud! 🎢 This is a very special trip for us, and I am looking forward to enjoying some well-deserved time away.
