A quick note about how consultations work at my office 📋
I want every prospective client to have clarity on my process, so here's a quick rundown:
✅ Initial consultations are complimentary and thorough-I use this time to really understand your situation and give you an honest assessment of your options.
✅ After your consultation, I'm happy to answer a few follow-up questions by email to help you decide how to move forward.
⚖️ Please note: because giving specific legal advice creates an attorney-client relationship, I'm not able to answer case-specific questions before you've retained my services. Once you're a client, you'll have access to ongoing consultations to address your questions in depth.
⏳ For those who receive a fee agreement, please know it's valid for 30 days, and matters must generally be filed within 3–6 months of retention. If some time has passed since your consultation, please reach out-pricing and timelines may need to be revisited.
💰 A general idea of fees because I value transparency: my legal fee is $2,500, plus court filing fees and administrative costs, bringing the total to approximately $2,938. You can retain my services with a $600 deposit, with all fees paid and your case filed within 3–6 months. Cases involving SBA debt require significantly more work and are priced higher-expect a total closer to $4,000. I typically refer these out.
🖥️ My practice is entirely remote-between the volume of work across two states and caring for my clients properly, I simply don't have time for phone calls. Existing clients can schedule consultations via Microsoft Teams, and all clients upload documents securely through an electronic portal for my review. This allows me to work efficiently and keep things organized for every client.
📅 A quick heads up: my September books are opening soon! Thank you for your patience! I look forward to meeting you! 🙏🏽
I run a one-woman practice, and I keep my availability limited so I can give the clients who need my help right now the attention they deserve. I don’t follow up and I don’t chase people down. Organic relationships matter. It’s either a “Heck yes!” or it’s a “No” and that’s ok! I’m not for everyone! 🤷🏻♀️
Thank you for understanding!
Have a great night, everyone! 🫶🏽
