Home Price Growth Expected To Slow Further
Looking ahead to 2026, we’re anticipating a notable shift in the housing market: home price appreciation is projected to ease to just 1.2%. At the same time, existing-home sales are expected to tick up slightly to 4.10 million. Inventory should see a modest increase of 3.6%, and homeownership may edge up to 65.1%. Rents, on the other hand, are forecasted to dip by 1.2%. With over 35 years navigating the ups and downs of Colorado Springs real estate, I’ve seen how these trends can shape opportunities for both buyers and sellers. Understanding where the market is headed is key to making confident decisions—something I’ve always strived to provide for my clients as a dedicated advocate.
