After many wonderful years as Schwartz Law and Schwartz/Gillihan, we are preparing for a new chapter.

Effective July 1, 2026, Schwartz/Gillihan will conclude operations, and Courtney Gillihan will continue serving clients through Gillihan Law.

While the firm name is changing, our office location and telephone number will remain the same. Clients can continue to visit us at 520 N. Government Way in Coeur d'Alene or reach us at (208) 930-1300.

Thank you to our clients, colleagues, and community for your trust and support over the years. I look forward to continuing to serve North Idaho through Gillihan Law, while Chris looks forward to serving the same community from the bench.

Please join us in congratulating our founder, Christopher Schwartz, on his recent appointment as a Magistrate Judge in Kootenai County. While we are sad we won't again have the opportunity to witness his unmatched advocacy for his clients, we are overjoyed for our community to benefit from his brilliant legal mind, compassion for others, and dedication to public service.
