Today we send off our incredible law clerk, Thalia Enriquez, as she shifts her focus fully to Bar prep!
Thalia has made a lasting impact during her time at NALC — pouring her heart into each case, advocating for our clients, and showing up every day with passion and purpose. Her dedication has left a mark not only on our team but on the many lives of clients she’s helped along the way.
We are so proud of you, Thalia! Wishing you clarity, confidence, and calm as you take on this next challenge. This isn’t a goodbye but a see you soon — we know you’ll continue to do incredible things for our immigrant community.
Today is National Higher Education Day—and we’re celebrating what it really means to break generational cycles and build lasting legacies through education. 🎓
Thalia Enriquez (JD ’25) is a mom of two beautiful boys, a devoted wife, and now—an SJCL law school graduate. ⚖️
Balancing diapers and deadlines, playdates and case law, Thalia didn’t just earn a law degree—she created a future.
For her sons.
For her family.
And for everyone watching who thinks their circumstances disqualified them from chasing a dream like this.
Higher education isn’t just about degrees. It’s about access. 📚
It’s about unlocking the next chapter for those who never thought it was written for them. And it’s exactly why we work so hard to make law school a reality for students who once believed it was out of reach.
Because when someone like Thalia walks across that stage, she’s not walking alone—she’s walking with the next generation who now knows what’s possible for themselves. 💙
To every parent, first-gen student, career-changer, and dreamer out there: this is your reminder that higher education has a seat for you too—and at SJCL, we’re saving you a spot. 💫
