Updated assessments are starting to arrive in your mailboxes. If you notice a huge difference in the assessed value, don’t panic! 😱

As a homeowner in Michigan, your property taxes are capped and can only be increased by the inflation rate, even if there is a large market value adjustment, as seen in this example.
As long as that principal residence exemption sits as 100% and the taxable value only increases a little bit, you’re good!! 👍
