One of the unexpected growing pains of launching a new law firm… apparently your former employer follows you around for a little while. 😂

I recently had the pleasure of joining ONNJ to talk about nursing home resident protections, Medicaid planning, and consumer rights. Since my transition to Siclari Legal, LLC is still pretty recent, I was introduced as being with Porzio and the on-screen graphic reflected that as well.

No correction needed beyond this post—I have nothing but appreciation for my years at Porzio and the incredible colleagues I had the privilege of working with there.

The important part is the conversation, and I’m grateful to ONNJ and AARP for the opportunity to help educate families about these important issues.

One of the reasons I chose to focus my practice on elder law is that helping clients often requires more than solving the legal issue in front of us. It also means working to improve the systems that affect older adults and individuals with disabilities.
