Giving it ALL to God today 🙏🏼

Not just the big stuff. The little things we keep trying to control too.

Today we’re giving God our fear, our anxiety, our finances, our relationships, our children, our jobs, our recovery, our anger, our resentments, our need to know what happens next, the people we can’t change, the situations we can’t fix and the things we keep replaying in our heads.

Step 3 reminds us to make a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understand Him.

God I give You what I can’t control
I give You the things I’ve been carrying that were never mine to carry
I give You my plans, my worries, my family, my future and my recovery
Help me stop trying to force outcomes and start trusting You

God, take my will and my life. Guide me in my recovery and show me how to be useful to others. Take away the things in me that keep me from doing Your will and give me the strength to walk the path You have for me.

Today I’m giving it ALL to God 🙏🏼

She did it ya’ll!! Jennifer is such a great example of what it looks like to follow God and truly pursue your recovery. She waited a long time to come to EmberRise and never gave up hope, and we never gave up on her either and never will.

Since the day Jennifer got here, she has hit the ground running. She puts in the work, shows up for herself, and continues to grow in her faith and in every area of her life.

We are so proud of Jennifer for taking this next step in her faith and getting baptized. Seeing these beautiful pictures and knowing how far she has come makes us so proud to be a part of her journey.
