Need live music this Halloween? Tune in to WCSB for a live stream of these local bands at some favorite local venues! ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ค
Hey there, . If you haven't heard yet, WCSB 89.3fm wants to invite you to partake in the Virtually Virtual Halloween MASKerade Ball. As most of you have heard, there is a pandemic happening so all of the shows and concerts were cancelled this year. So the Executive Staff have created a 99% virtual event chock full of audio and video goodies for our loyal listeners this year. Here's the deal...pay attention...
- The festivities begin at 12pm (EST) on www.wcsb.org with spooky tunes and frightening programming all day.
- Beginning at 4:20pm (EST), pre-recorded performances begin from all around the city for your VIEWING pleasure that will air on WCSB's website and the NEW YouTube channel. Here's the line-up (subject to change):
4:20pm - Factual Brains at Mahall's
5pm - bwak dwagon at Grog Shop
5:30pm - Cereal Banter at Mahall's
6pm - cotton ponys at Now That's Class
6:40pm - MA HOLOS at The Happy Dog
7:20pm - DDS duo decibel system at Little Rose Tavern
7:50pm - Muamin Collective at BOP STOP at The Music Settlement
THEN...the Main Event begins LIVE STREAMING at 8pm with Apostle Jones Band at The Beachland Ballroom and Tavern. If you want a safely-distanced, COVID-compliant concert experience, there might still be tickets to attend this very kick ass, very COVID-safe event at https://www.ticketweb.com/event/a-covid-safe-99-virtual-beachland-ballroom-tickets/10737435?pl=beachland.
If that wasn't good enough...there will be a virtual costume contest AND a coloring contest for those of you playing at home.
Go to WCSB.org to grab the Halloween Ball poster, color it good (inside the lines, losers!), and email it back to [email protected].
For the costume contest ya get dressed up, take a pic (keep it classy, losers!) and post it on FaceBook and Instagram with the tags and or email it to [email protected]. THERE WILL BE PRIZES (to be announced) FOR THE BEST COSTUMES AND COLORS.
Any questions? Go to www.wcsb.org for any deets I might have left out. I mean...I'm only one man. Enjoy the show, stay safe and stay tuned for new All Things Flannel and Thermal Shows coming (sorta) soon. Later .
