Responsibilities Include:

Client Communication
Serve as a point of contact for clients: schedule meetings, provide updates, and relay attorney instructions.

File Management
Maintain organized case files (physical and digital), ensuring all documents, medical records, and correspondence are current.

Drafting Correspondence
Prepare letters to insurance companies, healthcare providers, and clients under attorney direction.

Medical Record Retrieval and Review
Request, track, and organize medical records and bills. Review documents for accuracy and completeness.

Calendar and Deadline Management
Track statutes of limitations, court dates, and other critical deadlines. Ensure attorneys are informed and prepared.

Discovery Support
Assist in preparing interrogatories, requests for production, and responses. Organize and index discovery materials.

Qualifications

Experience as a legal secretary, legal assistant, or paralegal.
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.

Distracted driving is a serious issue in Ohio. From 2018 through 2022, there were 60,421 crashes in Ohio that involved one or more drivers who were distracted by something in their vehicles. Plevin & Gallucci has represented many individuals who faced serious injury, and even death, as a result of a distracted driver.

As of April 4, 2023, it is now illegal to use or hold a cell phone or electronic device in your hand, lap, or other parts of your body while driving on Ohio roads.

In a personal injury case, the amount offered in settlement or awarded by a jury depends on a wide range of factors.

It can be difficult to tell whether or not the porch or deck you’re standing on presents a risk. According to the North American Deck & Railing Association (NADRA), there are about 30 million decks in the United States that are beyond their “useful life” and require repair or replacement.

Thousands of people are injured each year in porch or deck incidents, and a small number are killed. Porch and deck injuries can occur in many different ways, which means there are many different possible responsible parties.
