Spangenberg Partner Dustin Herman presented at Mass Torts Made Perfect alongside John Givens of The Cochran Firm, demonstrating how plaintiff attorneys can use tools such as document cameras, Canva, PowerPoint, and AI to create and use visuals that help juries better understand complex cases.

The bi-annual conference brings together plaintiff attorneys and paralegals to share strategies and insights on mass tort litigation. This work plays an important role in holding corporations accountable, and we’re proud to see Dustin contributing to the continued growth of this practice area.

Spangenberg Partner Dustin Herman recently presented at the Ohio Association for Justice’s Annual Convention. His presentation, “How to Make Yourself Valuable as a New Lawyer: Master the Technology for Depositions and Trial,” focused on practical strategies for effectively using courtroom technology and how to create visuals that help juries better understand the facts of a case.

Spangenberg Partners Dustin Herman and Nicholas A. DiCello served as keynote speakers at the American Association for Justice's Elder Abuse Case College: Delivering Results and Defending Dignity in Long-Term Care. Their presentations explored how nursing home cases are often corporate malfeasance cases, and also covered strategies for effectively presenting evidence through tools such as document cameras and creating compelling visuals live in depositions and at trial.

The Federal Bar Association, Northern District of Ohio Chapter will host its Bench-Bar Conference on May 14, following a successful inaugural program last year. Spangenberg Partner Jeremy Tor founded the first conference during his tenure as president and now serves as co-chair of the event’s organizing committee.

This year’s event will offer a three-hour CLE program and will feature the Chief Judge of the Sixth Circuit, several N.D. of Ohio judges, and other local leaders. Topics will include key aspects of litigation practice including discovery, case management, motion practice, brief writing, oral advocacy, trials, and the role of the judiciary.
