My first Barrio experience was in Cleveland. This is my first time eating at a Barrio that is Cleveland adjacent. The Coca~Cola steak tacos are just as good (if not even better) than I remember from five years ago.

Though it's no longer a Michael Symon joint, it is where it started his line of restaurants... sort of. This Melt is in Independence but I will never forget how people would wait for hours just to get a toe through the door of his Lakewood location. Lakewood was his first restaurant. Still local to Cleveland, I visited this chain (under new owners) just to say I did something totally Cleveland. Who says you can't have a great career with a Tri-C degree? 🤷🏿‍♀️
