Agree or Disagree?

The Real estate market is much slower in 2023 than last year.

There are fewer homes coming on the market because home owners just locked in 3% rates and they don't see a reason to sell and become buyers again.

Buyers today are facing high mortgage rates which makes it much less affordable to buy a home compared to last year.

Regarding current 2023 inventory levels.

If you visit Redfin you'll see more homes for sale than you would have seen this time last year but a lot of that inventory is stale. It's homes that have been sitting on the market probably a bit overpriced and have not yet attracted a buyer and there are very few new listing coming on the market.
