Grab a few items from the list (pencils, folders, notebooks, glue sticks, and more) and drop them off at McGuire Law Offices, 1173 NE Cleveland St., Clearwater, FL 33755, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM.

As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, we are reminded that the American experiment was built on action. In fact, the denial of a trial by jury was one of the core grievances that sparked our revolution. In the Declaration of Independence, the colonies directly accused King George III of "depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury."

This principle became a cornerstone of the U.S. Constitution and ensuring this right became one of the core responsibilities of Clerks of Court. Today, it remains one of our most important protections, ensuring that legal decisions are made by members of the community applying the law fairly and impartially.

Every time you serve on a jury, you exercise real power and carry forward a 250-year-old founding tradition grounded in liberty.

Join us for 🇺🇸FREEDOM FEST🇺🇸 on July 4th from 4PM–8PM at O’Keefe’s Tavern in Clearwater, FL.

We’ll be serving FREE hot dogs, and setting up yard games for everyone to enjoy throughout the event. It’s the perfect way to come out, relax, grab some food, and celebrate the holiday with the community. 🇺🇸

The main event of the night will be our Hot Dog Eating Competition, starting at 7PM! 🏆 Winner receives a $100 bar tab for O’Keefe’s Tavern!

The Supreme Court today answered a question that we have been asked a lot in our office, yes, you can in fact use ma*****na and own fi****ms.

The rise in medical and recreational ma*****na, caused a weird limbo, as states normalized ma*****na, it remained a federal crime. The courts were split, with Texas prosecuting ma*****na users who own guns, yet many states recognizing that the federal laws have simply lagged behind state laws and society.

The order explains that the mere use of illegal drugs, or the misuse of legal drugs is not sufficient to criminalize gun ownership.

The Supreme Court has ruled against a broad federal ban on gun ownership by ma*****na users. The decision Thursday is the latest in a line of firearm cases from a court that has expanded gun rights.
