Meet the Chamber Board: Collin Davison

Collin Davison brings legal expertise and a strong connection to North Iowa to the Chamber Board.

Collin is a managing partner at Laird Law Firm, which has offices in Clear Lake, Mason City, and Clarion. His practice focuses on complex business, agriculture, estate planning and probate matters, as well as select banking, commercial, agriculture, and probate and trust litigation projects.

During law school, Collin served as Editor-in-Chief of the Drake Law Review and earned his degree with highest honors in 2011. While at Drake, he also clerked for CritelliLaw, where he worked on select state-side and international business, commercial, and agriculture litigation files.

Following his time at Drake and CritelliLaw, Collin returned to north central Iowa to build his career at Laird Law Firm.

When he’s not practicing law, Collin enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, all of whom share a passion for athletics.

We’re grateful for Collin’s expertise and commitment to serving the Clear Lake community.

After 35 years with Laird Law Firm, we recently had the honor of celebrating Twila and her well-deserved retirement.

For more than three decades, Twila has been a steady and dedicated presence behind the scenes. Her commitment to the firm will leave a lasting mark.

We gathered together last week to share our gratitude and send her off on her exciting new chapter. While we will certainly miss seeing her in the office each day, we are thankful for the 35 years she gave to Laird Law Firm.

Local businesses will be handing out candy and goodies along Bremer Avenue, so don your favorite costume and bring a bag for treats! 🍬

As you plan your downtown trick-or-treat route, we kindly ask families to help keep foot traffic moving clockwise along both sides of Bremer Avenue for a smoother experience. Check out the map on the graphic and follow the direction of the red arrows to stay on course! Don’t forget, the Rail Trail bridge can take you to the other side of the river for even more trick-or-treat fun! 🎃

We love seeing young minds engage with the justice system! Recently, Collin Davison from Laird Law Firm visited the Garner-Ventura-Hayfield Middle School to speak with students about the trial process and what it’s like to be an attorney in the courtroom. It’s inspiring to see the next generation of future advocates learning and asking great questions.
