I am honored to have been selected as the first Lead Special Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the 21st Circuit Court of St. Louis County, Missouri. Thank you to Ms. Carey Delargy for her hard work in obtaining a grant for this position. Also, thank you to Attorney Kim Bettisworth, the Chief Prosecutor of the SACA's, for having trust in me, and last but not least, Kelly Russell for her valuable collaborative skills, who makes it possible for the Domestic Violence Court to do its work smoothly. I hope to do justice for our community.

We often do not allow ourselves to post good things about ourselves for fear of being seen as egotistic. However, I risk it here by reprinting an email I received by the parent of a woman who suffered domestic violence:

There is no doubt in our minds that Karen Pittman-Pace is the lawyer to use. She is patient, prompt, respected, and admired.

What I like most about Karen is she has the patience of a Saint. She is patient on the phone, in letters, in emails, in the courtroom, all the time. Our family needs this because we are novices as far as law cases, legal terms, and courtroom activities go.

Karen has been representing our adult daughter in a case that has been ongoing for almost two years now. Karen patiently explains how the legal system works, and keeps us on track. This is difficult for us because there are MANY other cases related in one way or another to this case.

Another one of her most admirable traits is Karen is prompt to respond. This kind of person is hard to find in today’s world.

We have seen her interacting with many colleagues in and around the courtroom to know she is respected and admired by all those around her.
