SURCHARGE? What surcharge? That's what I said. Your insurance agent will tell you this is a law imposed upon us by NC in hopes of keeping our teen drivers safe on the road. How that works depends. Make sure all of your car insurance is up to date, with enough coverage for any unforeseeable situation.
We all need to be reminded and we all need advice sometimes to get it right. I am located on Hwy 70. There is no charge to sit down and talk about your concerns, and I answer the door.

You do know that teen drivers car insurance is more costly than experienced drivers, right? Those of you with teen drivers are feeling this expense. And the surcharge......those of you with up and coming drivers need to check with your insurance agent about the imposed state fee that increases the insurance bill for three years until our youngsters get some experience.
We all know the statistics, so let's push a little for safety and limits on the roads.

It's amazing, isn't it, how Hwy 42 is being put together...... Can you picture yourself planning the construction, timing the paving and changes while making sure drivers can navigate the stretches being worked on? How close have you come to driving between the wrong barriers? Do you get angry at delays? As a personal injury lawyer I can tell you that these frustrations lead to accidents. Clayton neighbors come in my office daily, having had such an interruption on any or all roads in all conditions ruin their daily routine. We never know, and we pray we are always safe, but.....things happen. If I can help, and give guidance through any difficult time, please call.

No one thinks about needing a lawyer, but in reality, we all do, sooner or later. Driving a car down Hwy 42 or any other road is known to be the most dangerous thing we do each day, and that might be reason enough to have someone to call. But there are other reasons as well..... The Will we put off doing, a business opportunity, a fall, that car accident, your estate, and various other concerns a family faces should not go unattended until the day comes. I have been serving the Clayton community for over 20 years and would welcome the opportunity to have my name in your phone directory.

Life is good along Highway 42, right? Even with construction, we are well blessed. Soon we will be cruising along in two lanes, like on many other roads before this one. Not always good, these roads....the highways are statistically unhealthy. Let's be careful, you and I, and keep this new highway beautiful and safe. Promise yourself...and pray that others are as wise as you.....Jeremy

The Town of Clayton Parks and Recreation girls 8u Spring softball is over with Coach Tanner enjoying yet another season at the helm. While helping others and being a part of the community is important to our firm, what matters most is reaching the kids and knowing they improved and had fun. When an 8 year old writes you a thank you note, that is icing on the cake.
