The federal government owes at least $189 million to 53,000 disabled veterans who overpaid on their home loans. From 2012 - 2017, more than half of the disabled veterans who bought homes paid a funding fee that should have been waived.

In order to receive reimbursement, veterans have to file a claim if they were wrongfully charged the fee and request the refund. If you feel you were wrongfully charged, but unsure how to properly file the claim, our experienced legal team is here to help.

It's already against the law in Tennessee to text and drive, and, as of July 1st, it's now against the law to even hold a cell phone when you're behind the wheel. Tennessee is the 19th state to ban cellphone use while driving, and offending drivers can face fines up to $200.

A friendly reminder that fireworks can only be used within Clarksville city limits July 1 through 5 between the hours of 6pm and 10pm. Other than these dates, it is unlawful to explode, fire, shoot, or set off fireworks inside the corporate limits of the city, and violators are subject to a city citation.

Although they are available for purchase, fireworks are not permitted within city limits for most of the year.
