Confidence is increasing for strong to severe thunderstorms on Tuesday. Scattered thunderstorms develop Monday night into Tuesday with thunderstorms becoming more widespread in the afternoon evening and some storms could be strong to severe.

Tonight: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 5am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Tuesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 7am and 8am, then showers and thunderstorms likely after 8am. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. South southwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tuesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm, then a slight chance of showers between 11pm and 2am. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
