Varner & Van Volkenburg, PLLC is proud to announce that Deb Varner has been honored with the Thomas F. Segalla Service Award by the American College of Coverage Counsel (ACCC). The ACCC annually bestows the Thomas F. Segalla Service Award in recognition of dedication and service to the College. Named in honor of the College's first President, the award recognizes recipients that demonstrate Creativity, Visibility, and Persistence, three characteristics that embody the approach of Tom Segalla to his practice, volunteerism, and leadership in the practice of law. Deb is also the Past-President of the ACCC (2023-2024).

The DTCWV consists of over 400 attorneys practicing in West Virginia. It seeks "[t]o bring together attorneys who defend individuals and corporations in civil litigation for the purposes of elevating the standards of West Virginia trial practice; supporting and advocating for the improvement of the adversary system of jurisprudence; and increasing the quality of services rendered by the legal profession to the citizens of West Virginia."
