Van, watching you grow from that little boy I held in my arms into the man standing before me today has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. There is something incredibly special about watching your child find his way, experience life, overcome obstacles, learn from his journey, and continue to become the person God created him to be.

At 36, I want you to know just how incredibly PROUD I am of you. Your father and I have watched you grow, mature, navigate life, and become a man with your own story, your own dreams, your own strengths, and your own purpose. Neurological testing underway… 🧠⚡

Trying to get some answers about why my pain level has been so out of control.

Living with fibromyalgia means sometimes smiling through pain that no one else can see. You learn how to function while hurting, keep moving when your body is screaming for rest, and advocate for yourself when something simply doesn’t feel right.

Today, we’re digging deeper.

The smile is real.
The pain is real.
And so is my determination to find answers.

One test at a time. One answer at a time. One day at a time.

💔 My life turned upside down.

There was a time when I barely recognized the person staring back at me. I lost things I never imagined I would lose, faced battles I never expected to fight, and discovered that healing isn’t a straight path.

But here’s what I’ve learned: being broken doesn’t mean you’re finished. Sometimes life has to shake everything you thought was permanent so you can build something stronger, wiser, and more authentic.

Today, I choose faith over fear. I choose growth over bitterness. I choose purpose over pain. Every scar tells a story, and every step forward is proof that I’m still standing.

I was asked to read the book of Esther…. The central message is that Esther’s bravery and Mordecai’s faithfulness led to the preservation of the Jewish people, demonstrating that deliverance can come through ordinary people acting with extraordinary courage. 📺✨ I’ve been watching The Good Fight, and it has me thinking deeply about politics, power, relationships, and our personal values.
The show is a powerful reminder that politics is rarely just about elections, laws, Democrats, Republicans, liberals, or conservatives. 🗳️⚖️ Politics influences how we see the world—and sometimes, without realizing it, it influences how we see each other.
Our values can be shaped, challenged, and even changed by the people around us, the media we consume 📱📰, the institutions we trust, and the experiences we have lived through.
But one thing really stands out to me:
🤐 No response is still a response.
Silence communicates something. Sometimes it says, “I agree.” Sometimes it says, “I don’t care.” Sometimes it says, “I’m afraid to speak.” And sometimes it simply says, “I’m protecting my peace.” 🦋🕊️
But we should never confuse silence with neutrality.
In a world where politics, relationships, faith, morality, and personal values are becoming more intertwined every day, we have to ask ourselves:
💭 What do I truly believe?
⚖️ What do I stand for?
🗣️ When should I use my voice?
🤐 And when I say nothing… what is my silence saying?
🔥 Because sometimes, NO RESPONSE is the loudest response of all.
