My dream of opening my law firm became a reality on June 1, 2016. It was a tiny space inside of a store in the neighborhood.

Although my dad’s English is not great, he served in the front desk to welcome community members. We were both proud of that space and of that moment. You see, I am undocumented even though we have been a part of our community for decades.

The DACA program allowed me to step out of the US for the first time in over 33 years to provide humanitarian aid in the migrant shelters in Tijuana for about two months. El fallo también dependerá de dos magistrados que recientemente fueron elegidos por el presidente Donald Trump.
