If your house is your primary residence, the Homestead Exemption can lower your property taxes by exempting up to $1,000 of your home’s assessed value. To get this year's benefit, you generally need to file by March 15 with your county assessor’s office.

Today’s Training: Staying current with the 2026 OREC contract changes.

Our Horizon Realty team spent the morning diving into the upcoming updates, and I’m excited about how they’ll improve transparency and protection for both buyers and sellers across Oklahoma. 🏡

🔹 Tighter language around repairs and inspections

These updates take effect on January 1, 2026, and my job is to stay prepared so that every client’s experience is smooth, confident, and free of surprises. 🙌
