🗣️🗣️Attention Home Buyers & Sellers:
I’m seeing many news channels reporting about the updates in our Real Estate contracts that officially go into practice today. Lots of misinformation being sent out… 🙄

Here’s a fun fact; 🗣️commissions have and will continue to be negotiable. 🤷♀️
🧩🧩Listing agents don’t always bring the buyers to a sale… in fact…buyers agents bring more buyers, are necessary in our industry, and they are not going away.🧩🧩
Buyers agents work equally as hard… driving all over Gods green earth, pulling comps, submitting offers, working with lenders to get buyers qualified, setting up detailed searches, tons of calls and texts on clients behalf, setting up showings, working holidays and weekends, open houses…..and do this job for a commission. That commission will now be discussed and agreed upon in detail with buyers prior to showing any homes. 🏠🏠
👀Buyers can decide and disclose to their buyers agent what homes they want to see based on on many different criteria… 👀…including opting out of looking at homes where a seller may choose not to pay a commission… ✍🏻some food for thought for sellers to chew on. 🧐
Real Estate isn’t changing… just some strategies will be adjusted while we navigate negotiations and make sure we do as we promise… provide a necessary service while helping homeowners continue to buy and sell their homes as they always have.
We all have our lane and area of experience and expertise… lawyers, lenders, title, insurance… and real estate agents. We all work to be paid 💰and commissions in the world of real estate are paid upon completion of a sale. 🏠🏠
Some sales can take many times in a normal market up to 6-12 months to consummate….Now let’s break that math down even further in regard to income earned by your agent… who has been paying dues to their broker, dues to the MLS, dues to NAR, buying signs, gas, marketing, required ongoing education…. and the list goes on.
I love what I do. I’ll continue to do it,and each of us in this industry know the value we bring to the table. ☀️🌈
Find a Realtor that you trust… respect, and that will take the time to explain the process, the commission structure breakdown, and why they bring value. …..and stick with them. ❤️
