Kale Realty agents and leadership team will be helping out ShareHouse/Share Our Spare (SOS) as volunteers We will be doing quality checking, sorting, and bundling the children's essentials they receive in a Sip and Sort event on May 9, 2024.
Sharehouse’s mission is to ensure that every Chicago area child, ages 0-5, has the essential items they need to support their health and development and equip them for a strong start. SOS activates community impact through empowerment, innovative solutions, and a network of partners, so that children can thrive and families can shift from crisis management to caregiving with dignity.
Sharehouse obtains items from individuals and corporations, not from government assistance. To better assist them with their mission, we are doing a drive to collect necessary items for the children. They need gently used children's clothing, books, or small gear items (bassinets, pack n plays, or strollers) or a brand new donation of bottles, diapers, wipes, or baby hygiene items (diaper rash creams, soaps, and lotions). Drop off any of the items to our Kale Realty office at 2447 Ashland Ave Chicago before May 9. Alternatively, items can be purchased from the Amazon Registry and the items will be mailed directly to the organization. Here is the link to Amazon Registry:
