A woman staying alone in her cabin on Casper Mountain reported hearing persistent noises outside late Sunday night. When she approached the window to investigate, she took a photo and discovered five mountain lions standing just feet away, quietly looking in. Wildlife officials say the animals were likely curious and moved on shortly after, reminding residents to secure cabins and avoid eye contact with groups of apex predators at bedtime.
