This is in memory of their Best Friend's Nina Mastro name. She passed away at 27 from pancreatic cancer and her 4 friends, since childhood, remember her every year with a fundraiser at Shinicks Pub. RFC attorneys, Cory D. Anderson and Edward Kuester, recently obtained summary judgment on behalf of a RFC client named as a defendant in a negligence lawsuit for personal injury on a construction jobsite in Cook County. The client faced significant exposure as the general contractor for the project and Plaintiff’s demand was in excess of $9,000,000. A Motion for Summary Judgment was briefed and, following oral argument, the Court entered an order granting the motion and entering judgment in favor of our client. Plaintiff will not appeal the ruling. The case continued against all remaining defendants.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our founder, Daniel R. Fusco, at the age of 84. Dan graduated from the University of Notre Dame and then Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1964, beginning his career with the Chicago Transit Authority. In 1970, he and Phil Rock, his dear friend and law school classmate, established our law firm, laying the foundation for the thriving practice we have today.

Dan will forever be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and wisdom, as well as his infectious laugh. Our prayers are with his beloved wife, Dorothy, and his entire family, that they may find peace and strength during this most difficult time.
