Boeing and Department of Justice reach agreement on fraud charges against Boeing for production of the Boeing 737 Max-8 aircraft. Boeing to create $500M fund for families of the victims of Lion Air 610 and Ethiopian Airlines 302.

Boeing reached a $2.5 billion settlement with the Justice Department on Thursday to settle criminal charges that the company defrauded the Federal Aviation Administration when it first won approval for the flawed 737 Max jet.

Boeing aircraft broke apart on runway in Turkey. Passengers evacuated through cracks in the broken plane.

One person has died after a passenger plane skidded off the runway and broke apart while landing at Istanbul's Sabiha Gokcen airport, Turkey's Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said Wedneday.

Another uncontained engine failure leads to fire. Wisner Law Firm represented the majority of passengers forced to evacuate following engine fires on British Airways Flight 2276 and American Airlines Flight 383. Wisner Law Firm secured compensation for all those passengers it represented.

A United Airlines flight to Los Angeles that took off from Newark Airport on Wednesday night was forced to return and make an emergency landing after an apparent engine fire was caught on camera.

This incident sounds very similar to the crash landing of Emirates Flight EK 521 from Thiruvananthapuram, India to Dubai, United Arab Emirates on August 3, 2016. Wisner Law Firm filed suit on behalf of injured passengers against Boeing in Chicago.

The Boeing 737-800 aircraft suffered damage to its nose as a result of the accident, although no passengers or crew were injured.
