Youth Services is proud to announce the appointment of Joel Herrera to our Board of Directors.

Joel is an exceptional community leader and advocate for local youth. In his professional life, he's built a law practice specializing in workers' compensation and rights. "Advocating for underrepresented communities has been a lifelong commitment of mine, both personally and professionally. When I learned about the incredible work that Youth Services does within these same communities, I recognized a valuable opportunity to work with an organization that shares the values my family and I hold dearly. It is my hope to help Youth Services expand its reach, strengthen its programs and continue empowering young people and their families" shared Joel.

"We're grateful to have Joel joining our team and adding his perspectives to our work" said Amy O'Leary, Executive Director of Youth Services. "His deep commitment to enriching the lives of local kids and sincere passion for support their development is inspiring."

Our law firm has been serving as a donation drop-off location for Project Embrace for the past ten years and we are so proud of their continued work to help youth and their families.

We are collecting donations at our office M-F 9am-5pm until April 3rd.

It's that time of year again! Help students attend prom by donating your new or gently used formal attire and accessories. Please see flyer for information on drop off sites. Thank you!

What began as a small initiative grew into a powerful show of compassion. This past Saturday, community members of all ages stopped by to drop-off canned goods, pantry staples, and even birthday cake kits. This collective effort was a heartwarming reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together!

Today we launch our Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Drive in partnership with Soto Accounting, Suarez Design Group, and our newest partner, the wonderful women of Gamma Phi Omega - Phi Gamma Chapter!

In this time of great need, let's rally around our community and provide local families with the basic necessities. 🍞🍎🍼

Donations of all sizes can be dropped off at our office M-F 9am - 5pm. Please refer to the flyer below for the items greatly needed at this time.

📣Call to Action: Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Drive

On November 1st, food SNAP benefits will end for 41 million Americans. Additionally, thousands of government employees have not been paid for several weeks due to the government shutdown. These events are a reminder of the importance of helping our community and local organizations focused on relieving food insecurities.

In partnership with Soto Accounting & Suarez Design Group, we are calling on the community to donate what you can to our Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Drive.

Our firm is once again partnering with Project Embrace - Chicago to help collect gently-used formal attire for high school seniors looking to attend prom.

Project Embrace is now in it’s 13th year and together we can help hundreds of students get prom-fit ready.
