Energy production that’s sustainable is inarguably the road we must follow. How can we walk abroad the at some point in the future falls off a cliff? That’s unsustainable. That’s stupidly short-sited.

Global warming remains an urgent issue for the environment and the people who will bear the direct costs. Yet I don’t think we should ignore the other case for focusing on “sustainable energy”: the macroeconomic benefits.
